
Judy graduated from Herkimer College with Associate in Applied Science with Honors in Physical Therapist Assistant Program in May 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Utica College.
Judy joined Function Better PT in February 2018 and has been working as a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant primarily out of the Yorkville and Oneida clinics.
Judy enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a wide variety of diagnoses, but has special interest in helping patients suffering from conditions affecting the spine. She has received training from The McKenzie Institute on the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy for the Lumbar, Thoracic and Cervical Spine and notes, “It is so gratifying to see the tremendous effects the McKenzie techniques have had on patients presenting with back and/or neck pain, who perform specific exercises, as instructed, and report significant decrease/ elimination of pain, considerable increase in range of motion, improved functional mobility and improved overall quality of life following.”
Judy is especially fond of working with the aging population and helping individuals regain/ maintain their independence with activities of daily living, educating patients on using proper body mechanics to perform functional activities in safe manner, in addition to reducing risk of falling by assisting individuals with personal strengthening program (emphasizing lower extremity, glutes and core strengthening), gait training and balance program.
Judy resides in Clinton with her husband, Domenico, and daughters, Cassandra and Rachel. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, cycling and baking.
